This months winner is a vivid false colour edge on spiral galaxy submitted by a student called Orion from Wirral Grammar School for Girls. Orion provided some useful tips for others thinking of entering our competition...

NGC1055 - I used the LTImage 3-colour image tool initially and then edited it further by removing noise and altering the brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows and exposure :)
