Angle to the Sun

The shadows of mountains and craters on the Moon change as the phase changes. So, if you were standing on the Moon, the Sun would rise and set just like on the Earth.

Here we have calculated how high above the horizon the Sun would be at the time of your observation (if you were standing in the middle of it).
