Short Intro Text
Our Go Observing tool allows teachers and students to request and download images from the Liverpool Telescope and Las Cumbres Observatory's 20+ telescopes around the world.
We have simplified this process so users can request observations with just a few clicks of the mouse.
The observations on offer come from a target database of several hundred pre-selected objects. These were chosen to be interesting, suitably bright, and to fit nicely into the field-of-view of the CCD detector.

Using the Go Observing system means that users do not have to worry about the following technical issues:
- whether your chosen object is visible at that time of year or at what point during the night.
- where to point the telescope at the time selected for your observation.
- what filters to use, and how long to expose the camera for.
- whether the Moon will interfere with the observation.
